this place has always had a bit of a bad rep. it used to be a bit rough when it was the fletchers, they changed the look of the place after a re-fit and renaming in an attempt to change the clientle. after the change over it was a bit of a nicer place place to drink. still it wasn't perfect,it was still mainly populated by riff raff ,i've had a few pints served from dirty glasses.the new owners who took over after the refit seemed like nice enough people though.and the poker nights were a good idea.

although last time I visited a few months back it had changed hands again, place was open but almost totally empty.
the new pub owner who took over this year doesn't seem overly friendly and a bit militant and opinionated, might be why the place doesn't have any customers?

I was going to pop in for a quick pint on my way back from Littlehampton but found that the pub is currently being renovated, and is due to re-open as "The Olde Coach House" in thre day's time (as it said on the banner outside. Have to try another time ... It's just over the road from Angmering station.
