It's okay for a GK place, I suppose.... just about. A bar and lounge two part set up. Only GK IPA and Abbot on offer on the ale front - the IPA was about as good as you'll get.

spent a weekend in hadleigh and drank in this pub the food in the pub was second to none all home prepared no micro rubbish .The landlady and her husband are apparently new to the pub and have totally rerurbished the premises which now boasts a seperate dining area but still in keeping with the fact the pub is nearly 400years old the guiness was tip top and as i only drink this cannot comment on the other beers but only to add iff they can get the guiness perfect then getting the others as good would be like a walk in the park. The regulars where a good bunch and made us welcome even to the point of inviting us to join them in the sunday night pub quiz would definatley return and if it wasnt for the fact its nearly 60 miles from my house would have made it my local

Seems to be the only pub in Hadleigh that reguarly shows football? watched the Ipswich v Norwich derby there recently, heard songs about Delia Smith that would make your hair curl!! Also, seems to be a real lads/mens pub, pissed up and apparently on there way to somewhere else?
Food looks good, big plates of traditional food, steak and kidney pudding etc. Wouldn't recommended it for a quite drink but if the football is on, more than adequate.

suggested by knob jockey? Not looking good eh? A good pub and if you open the left door, it says "Ram at rear" One of the most entertaining puns ever i'd say!
