user reviews of Farm @ Friday Street, Langney

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Attentive and cheerful staff, good menu, and log fire in one fireplace with candles in others. Recycled bricks and old timbers in the new part still look pretty convincing. Going back...

we had booked a table 2 weeks in advance and were told it had been given away when we arrived, The bar staff were very pleasant but ill informed as to what was available as 3 of our party had to order twice. the restaurant staff were non-existent! , we were sat for nearly 2 hours and were visited once by a waiter who had good wine knowledge but not much else. our main course was delivered before our starters had been cleared away. the starter portions are a bit over the top but i suspect that is to justify the price which is very high for the type of food served. all in all a poor experience as our expectation from looking at the website was quite high, unfortunately it is was a mediocre experiance
