| Maybe I am naive but I disagree with the earlier comments. Friendly corner located pub just down from Crewe Alex FC and the station. Large bar greets you as you enter with an open plan back room that is home to a pool table. Concreted patio area to the rear with benches. Light and airy feel to the place with a mix of clientele. A free house with a good range of the usual suspects on tap, though the Greene King IPA wasn't the best. All in all a good pub. lezford - 13 Aug 2012 08:58 |
| Well worn pub is a good description for this pub, this could be one of the best pubs in the area if only the time, money and effort was put into it. There now seems to be a handpump on the bar, but it was not in use at the time of my visit, it had a Boddingtons clip on it and the staff did say it was arriving soon...so as Boddingtons is no longer boddingtons we wont hold our breath. | Run of the mill old blokes local. Old school , open plan well worn place with a pool table. No ale so went for a pint of Stella.. No great shkes but at least it was open unlike the rest of Crewe. Snarling_Mallard - 26 Oct 2010 12:48 |
