I'm the new landlady of the Tatton Arms Pub Altrincham. After a bit of a shady history it's good to say that the Tatton Arms is slowly making a comeback. I've been here 8 weeks now and I've got SKY & BT sports back, pool table, darts board, quiz nights, karaoke, open mic, DJ's, soul & RnB nights, BBQs, tasty pub grub, fab gin bar, cocktails, child and dog friendly. Sun trap of a beer garden which is safe and secure - fully enclosed. Great atmosphere with fantastic customers, locals and from afar which travel to visit us. Relaxed and comfortable setting. A proper traditional pub (not many left).

All the sports shown. Come by and say hello.

Regards Steph

A Sad demise, Jake now in trial in court for alleged Child Porn offences... Lets hope the place can be resurrected to it's former self, A pub is based on it's punters, not one man alone!

Enjoying something of a new lease of life back under control of Altrincham's serial landlord Jake, ex of Wheasheaf, Hale Con Club, The Bakers and erm..HERE! The pub is clean, well stocked and according to the sign on the door, the hoodie/tracksuit brigade bemoaned in the last post are no longer welcome. There are always at least 2 Cask ales on, The pub had been awarded Cask Marque status too... Beers tend to be the pricier end of the scale though. Plenty of TV's now for watching the footy - Very busy when UTD are on - shows all the games via foreign satellite too! No food anymore but no chavs/dickheads either... Quiz night on a Thursday seems well attended. There is also a fortnightly Irish Night on a Sunday that arracts a good following. No pool table, Cavernous smoking area, and a no children policy make for a good, well run boozer. Oh and he has the trademark barmaids he was known for at the Wheatsheaf!

Not sure what has happened to this place since I last visited since had been modernised, It was dirty, they had no cask ales & hardly anything on the shelves behind the bar, the people in there were of the black tracksuit wearing variety & they were obviously friends of the 'bar staff'. Avoid this place at all costs. What a fall for this pub.
