user reviews of Seven Stars Inn, Exeter

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Went here for the quiz night just recently, which was quite a good one. Thought it was quite a nice place, but feels a bit cold in atmosphere. The beers were in pretty good nick, but all the same colour, types and ABVs, so not much choice overall.

Gone a little up market for me know.
Currently trading as an Ember Inn so now mainly food led.
Used to be ok for a Sunday night pint though.

6/10

Goes under Ember Inns banner part of the M&B conglomerate that also run Goose, All-Bar-One, Flares, O'Neills, Express by Holiday Inn & Hollywood Bowl brands amongst others, so don't get too excited!
Modern interior with passable, if unexciting guest beers, some at 1.99. Food similar to Wetherspoons i.e. "Curry Night" & "Grill Night" and ridiculously cheap. Not a bad pub to be honest, just a little soulless. Handy if you live in the estate behind (likes what I does)

Awful pub. Nice decor but the staff were rude, the music was too loud and they have awful microwave food. Not badly priced though so I guess you get what you pay for.
