| Okay Spoons, lacks atmosphere and is a bit out of town. Pretty much always busy, but in a good way, although it frequently takes an age to get served. | A modern type of Spoons pub, a great place to have a drink on the rear patio area, next to the river Foss, swans, ducks and water voles if you are lucky! Three areas inside the pub, and a large bar. There are usually quite a few real ales on, and pretty good. Service is ok and the staff are helpful. Can get busy on weekends with hen and stag nights, but well worth a visit, a Travelodge adjoins it, so it is well placed for anyone visiting York noggin46 - 25 Nov 2010 19:40 |
