Sozz. Shouldn't have taken the rip out of the accent: GRUNTING was the word I really meant! wobblybob - 2 Jul 2010 00:56
'Real ale' signs on the obviously pubco blackboards were tempting. Wandered in, to be greeted by a wall of footie dullards staring and granting at the big screens. Left.... Don't bother is my advice. wobblybob - 2 Jul 2010 00:53
A great place to watch sport on a Sat /Sun a few ales on friendly enough. kilkenny1cat - 9 Oct 2009 05:52
More typical Greene King pub. Youngs Original, Special and London Pride were available. The Pride was mediocre at best but the Youngs was just about acceptable. Barman didn't have a clue how to pull a pint though and I was usually left standing for 5 minutes while he struggled to pour 2 beers. Wouldn't rush here but not a huge amount in the area. Not cheap. Food was good though, especially the pie of the day. Sharp - 31 Aug 2008 21:25
