Nice and friendly welcome. We went there quite late in the evening so it was quite quiet. Nice clean pint of doom. The staff were very helpfull.

The best local pub in Weymouth. Great pub, friendly staff, top beer and cider. I have recently changed from the boot, which has gone down hill. If you love great beer, and a friendly atmosphere the Globe Inn is the place.

As a long term regular of the pub. I utterly disappointed with the boot. I am in the armed forces, and spend a lot of time away. I have always returned knowing that the boot would be the same, happy, warm, and friendly place, with the best beer around. It is now expensive, poor quality, and unfriendly. At this point I can't see myself stepping foot in the Boot again. I have changed my allegiance to the Globe Inn. As have CAMRA, who has dumped the Boot, and added the Globe.

The Garrick Inn, Stratford Upon Avon
A great old pub, friendly and welcoming. A top pint of addlestones. Went in for a pint, stayed all night. Didn't have the food but it smelt nice, and was well priced. Would come back just for the atmosphere.
