Great town centre pub, perfect for watching the footie or rugby. Good atmosphere, good beers and good regulars. Well worth the effort, especially in a town dominated by plastic chain bars.

The RISC Global Cafe and Bar, Reading
Nice bar, well worth a visit, cafe style atmosphere, bottled beer selection is large and varied plus budvar on draught. Agree with other posts below, food used to be better but is still ok.
