The Bree Louise, Euston

Visited the Bree Louise last Saturday, agree with some previous comments, a well worn Pub and a strange table layout but great selection of ales, excellent staff and a good outside seating area. Toilets were dire but nothing that a good clean and paint would not put right. It is a London thing to have great pubs with really bad toilets.

All in all, if in the area call in.

Lower Turks Head, Manchester

After the farce that was the Abel Heywood, called in here and spent a couple of hours in a great Pub. I'm a lager drinker so cannot comment on Ale selection, but lots of patrons seemed to enjoying a good choice.

Abel heywood, Manchester

Called in last week on the way home, hoping that it was a Pub amongst all the Bars / Restaurants of the Northern Quarter. Disappointed doesn't do it justice, £4.75 for a Lager served in a very tall and I think not a pint pot, with a head of about 2 inches. bar staff totally uninterested and just kept muttering ehhh everyone says that it's not a full pint.

Finally got it topped up and spent 15 minutes or so in an unappealing pub / bar with no redeeming features whatsoever. If the bars of NQ are your think, go for it, if you like Pubs give it a miss

The Crown and Anchor, Euston

Called in last Thursday lunch and its a restaurant setting all tables booked for lunch and full, had a decent lager although there were a number of pumps on. As with most London pubs all bar staff were East European, but at least the two girls were stunning and friendly.

Rated a 5 because its not really a pub.
