Hole in the Wall, Bristol

Hard to judge as it was quiet and early on a Tuesday evening when I visited, but it seemed to lack atmosphere and the atmosphere was dead. Service was ok, but no better. Beer was ok, bit not that well kept. Enjoyed a couple of pints of South Island but then it was off and the alternatives weren't very good. The proper chips were fantastic though, perhaps a better place to eat than to drink?

The Swan Hotel, Haslemere

Dirty, dingy and depressing. Cheap prices don't make up for poor drink and food. Avoid at all costs.
