Great little local run by young enthusiastic couple! Always very calm and polite! Kitchen now ready soon to do food after a mini refurb due in November! Looking forward to it!

Adding to some of the comments made below! Tony the so called owner manager whatever has been told by police that he was too drunk to even run the place one night so it's a definite no no for me!
That said the pub itself on a rugby day has a good atmosphere!

I agree with many of the opinions on here that Gavin and his staff have indeed turned things around and the pub is now back up to speed and similar to that of 10-15 years ago!!!

Pub has now closed! Bit of a shame! Thankfully the one round the corner is surviving and is not bad at all!!!

Would stear well clear of this place! Full of coked up 50 year old gangsters just looking for a row! Pathetic! Spoiled a perfectly good evening! Police should take note!!!!
