The Masons Arms, Kensal Green

Me again! i just read the review below and i have to say i was very suprised by the comments. I go to The Masons all the time with my friends and we all love it. The manager is charming, i find all the staff cheery and helpful (particulalry the Brazilian girl who is always lovely)and i've never had a problem with waiting too long for our food. Don't be put off by one persons negative experience. It 's a great pub and now the summer is (?) coming the beer garden is a fanatstic space to hang out. 10 out of 10 for me!

The William IV, Kensal Green

I've tried to like this place as many of my friends go here. In fact i do quite like it as a place to go for a quiet light lunch, but i'm sorry it'S The Masons Arms for me. It's just got so much more character.

Can't see what all the fuss is about. Apart from a decent Sunday roast i can see no reason to go here.

The Masons has the biggest cross section of people i've ever seen in a pub; from an old man quietly watching proceedings and smoking his pipe to the uber trendy fashionistas you clearly have a problem with. I've certainly never felt sneered at and i'm about as uncool as it gets!
I also find the staff charming and helpful.
Food - �5 to �12.50 is hardly expensive.
There are three ales 'on tap' (whatever that means. my boyfriend told me to put that in!)
We love this pub. You guys rock! Can't wait for the smoking ban to come in though as it can get a bit smokey on the busier nights.
Can i get a Membership for upstairs now plaese??! xx
