The Woodman, Highgate

Patronising and rude staff who speak to customers as though we are their children make this large pub on the heavily polluted corner of Muswell Hill Road and Archway Road one to avoid at all costs. The only reason I can think of to use this pub is if you get caught short and need the toilet urgently. (They're not much better than the staff attitude by the way.) In all other circumstances take the trouble to walk up to Highgate Village where there is an abundance of delightful, traditional village pubs. Try The Angel Inn, The Prince of Wales and best of all, The Bull on North Hill

The Mudlark, London Bridge

Never in my life have I been spoken to in a restaurant as I was - by the dining room manager - on the evening 10 July 2012. I am a man in my mid-late 50s and was spoken to by this youth of less than half my age in an intimidating and grossly disrespectful way.
My advice is to avoid this pub at all costs. Even if you are starving - wait until you get home. Zero out of ten!

The Green Dragon, Barnet

Nice pub, shame about the indifferent staff attitude though... And don't be fooled by their advertised kitchen opening times as I was. The restaurant closes whenever the chef decides to so always phone ahead if you're planning on eating there...
