Ryans Bar, Blackfriars

It's OK. I think I mainly like it from the olden days... it's the crowd that makes this place more than the service/decor/lager/cleanliness/toilets.

Ye Olde London, St Pauls

VERY hit and miss.

Last time I was here the sausages had a plastic wrapping on them and previously we'd had rude staff taking plates before everyone had finished.

Ochre, St Pauls

The food here has gone steadily downhill over the past couple of years

But it's always brought quickly and the staff and lager are good

The Centre Page, St Pauls

Takes ages to get your food on a lunchtime but of an evening can be very pleasent

The Angel, Soho

Good pub. Bad tequila. Chess is a plus.

Molly Moggs, Soho

I always enjoy Molly Moggs. So close to Old Compton Street yet so un-Old Compton Street,

The Old Thameside Inn, London Bridge

Often crowded and hard to get served but the location makes up for it.

A frequent haunt in summer, though less-frequent in the winter is still good.

Good burger tent sometimes too, outside.

The Mudlark, London Bridge

Too much outside, not enough inside. Overcrowded, overpriced, bad staff and frequent lap-top thefts.

The Bunch of Grapes, London Bridge

I was very excited when I heard this place had a "3-tier beer garden"... but it's not all that.

OK food, OK drinks, good (if quirky-looking staff) and great proximity to McDonalds.

Not bad, not perfect.

The Kings Arms, London Bridge

By far my favourite pub in the area. Definitely not a bar, a real pub.

Big screens, small prices, reasonable food, friendly AND efficient bar staff and a really enjoyable atmosphere.

For ladies ordering Rose, they are even treated to their own little bottles. Just imagine...

If they put an air-freshener and a few doilies in the toilets, I'd give this place a ten.

The Horseshoe Inn, London Bridge

Always a pleasant place to visit from my POV

Yes, the staff don't always have perfect English but the lagers, wines and beers have always been up to standard and the food (especially the 8oz homemade burger) always extremely good pub-food quality.

Great outdoor area, even worth it on colder nights - and they'll keep serving as long as you keep drinking.

A local favourite.
