C'est What?, Toronto

Great selection of beers and bartenders great to chat with. Quite knowledgable about sports..............especially my favourite........baseball. Very enjoyable and regret I can only get there once or twice a year. I have no idea about their food as it wasn't my first priority.

The Admiral Benbow, Penzance

A bit of nostalgia: Visited this pub (and quite enjoyed it!) on my first trip to Britain in 1976. At the time, the price of a pint was 19p..................a real bargain after paying close to 30p in London!!! How times have changed. Glad to hear it's still doing well. Looking forward to a return in the near future. Cheers! Army from Canada.

The Dog and Bone, Lincoln

Dog and Bone is an anagram of One Bad Goth Den? I don't think that's possible according my limited knowledge of the English language.

The Cock, Beazley End

I visited this pub and stayed overnight during my first trip to England in 1976. The landlord at the time was in the Guinness Book of Records as having the longest mustache. Wish I could recall his name. His daughter and husband toured Ontario, Canada in a double-decker bus a couple years earlier and had passed through my home at the time, Burlington. They gathered quite a collection of police patches on their trip!

Enjoyed the ambiance. Will have to get back and see the changes! Cheers.
