The Chainlocker and Shipwrights, Falmouth
Really enjoy supping here especially if the weather is good. Beer and food spot on and dog friendly.

The Grapes, Mathew St, Liverpool
Had the worst pint of Guinness (in 25 years of supping) here. A couple of patronising obviously half-cut locals standing at the bar put a blight on what should be a top cultural pub. Will be back though in the hope things will have improved.

A throw back to the good old days. Recommend a visit if your visiting the city.

Just a joy to eat and drink in such a wonderful building. A must visit.

One of my fav pubs ever. Always look forward to having a few scoops on my visits to the City. Try the Scouse they dish up....its the best.

Another visit after a couple of years away and still one of the better Liverpool wateringholes. Recommended.

Food decent but very overpriced. Friendly enough barstaff and beer fine. Special occasions only for me in the future.

Robin Hood Inn, Barrow in Furness
Good vibe in this pub. Beer ok. Too many Karaoke nights on the trot - could do with a few bands. Christmas decs up early and the place is covered in it. Worth a visit.

The Furness Railway, Barrow In Furness
Visited this one a few times on my latest trip to Barrow and I'm not usually a fan of this chain and certainly wouldn't go in my local to home one unless forced but got to say hats off to all the staff as the service was excellent and the beer spot on.

Britannia Inn, Barrow in Furness
Nothing much changed to this pub for 25 years. But cheap beer, footie, rugby and darts shown in both sides of the bar. Friendly bar staff and full of character locals! No thrills but prefer this to the Yates, Weatherspoons or any other of the dolled up bars not so far away.

Just visited the wee toon and glad to report this pub has re-opened.

The Peacock Inn, Barrow in Furness

Four Seasons Pub and Restaurant, Fort William
Fine pub with decent service and good food. Will be back.

The Punch Tavern, Fleet Street
Visited very recently after a gap of 7 years. Boy what a let down - very tatty and resembles a greasy spoon. Shame.

Walked in ...walked out. Nuff said. Not a pub in my eyes.

Disaster! O'neills no longer showing Sky Sports. Cannot believe it...but apparently its across all its UK outlets. Think this will have a big inpact on the brand. Saturdays now will be a swift half and food instead of at least 4 pre-match pints. Shame as staff brilliant.

Friendly enough pub. Food slightly uninspiring and maybe would not eat there again.

The Duke of Kendal, Marylebone
Liked this pub very much. Beer not cheap but good. 2 footie screens. Friendly locals. Will be back.

I really like the O'Neills chain and this pub ticks all my boxes. Cheap ale, food and footie on the big screen. Fab.

Love this place for footie. Plenty of room, loads of atmosphere. Food not too bad but avoid the curry.

Great old pub this one and it ticks all the boxes for me. Deffo be my Saturday afternoon pub to watch the footie score roll in.

Love this pub but only visit for brekkie (which is great) or lunchtime/afternoon session. Can get very busy which is a put off.

Locals pub with a small but perfectly formed bar. Staff always friendly. Food ok.

Beer ok. Nice quiet pub with decent background music. Didnt eat but food has quite a good rep.

Love it. My Grandad took me here 33 years ago and not a lot has changed since. Good time to be had. Beer fine.

The Lobster Smack, Canvey Island
My pub for over 30 years. Love to go back. My ashes will be scattered from the jetty nearby.....not for a while I hope. Great pub, good food.

The Old Duke, Bristol
Love this pub for its Jazz but really everything else is not appealing. The price of the Guinness is quite a shock and I would not go there again if it wasn't for the music. It seems that a couple of regulars are allowed to prance around obviously well under the influence of alcohol etc without being told to calm down. All this said we visit the pub on every visit to Bristol.
