Urghhhhhhhhhhhhh still the same old place and same old owners. That woman owner should not be allowed near customers at any time. Went there one Friday and there was just 1 guy behind the bar and apparently it was his first evening of work. The grumpy woman wasn't around, her husband was at the door. We saw one guy getting chucked out after waiting for over 20 minutes for daring to demand why the barman was taking his order. We saw quite a few people walking out during the evening due to the poor and slow service and the guy was even getting the prices wrong. We were overcharged twice by more than �5 but were given the right change when we complained that he'd got it wrong. DJ was better than the old pothead who smoked in the booth even up to a few months back. Place is still a dump and toilets are really creepy and dirty beyond belief. Surprised the health people haven't shut this place down yet1

Nice friendly efficient staff - door staff very civil and held doors open, no attitude, just what you need. Clientele was very mixed, on a Friday night there were pensioners in there as well as young people on their way out to party. Bar prices good and toilets were clean. Shame it's so small, well not small compared to other pubs in the area but small compared to other J D Wetherspoon branches...

Popped in there with a dozen or so mates recently. Bar staff are pretty useless, twice and with 2 different bar starr they got the drinks wrong. They were clearly asked for Vodka and Diet Coke and they gave normal coke and when they were corrected they said the wrong drink still had to be paid for. As there were so many in our group and we didn't want to be thrown out for arguing with thick and hard of hearing bar staff, we paid what they asked, only for the same thing to happen again and be stiched up again with another member of staff. Now when you say DIET COKE it means DIET COKE and not normal COKE, it sounds very different it's two words, if they make a mistake, why should the customer pay for it? They even did this when just a DIET COKE was ordered within the round, they gave a coke, when it was returned to the bar, they asked us to pay for the incorrect drink. Not setting foot in this place again and neither are any of my mates. Considering we spent over �250 in there they can be happy to lose our business... They are getting a 1 out of 10 as opposed to a 0 as the music was ok. Average age of customers seemed to be about 15, even though the stroppy looking doormen who think they're Gods gift to women (they certainly are NOT) seemed to be checking everyone for ID and we saw several very young looking girls throwing up in the toilets and I hear the men's toilets were absolutely soaking wet and stank to high heaven!
