still haven't had a bad pint here, whether its a light mild, or stronger seasonal ale. The food is also consistent.
A great stop-off if your making your way along A272. Despite its distance from the brewery its one of Harveys best pubs (in my opinion)

The Greyhound, Cocking Causeway
Really wish they would make the most of the free house status, and get some interesting beers

thankfully slerpy's comment 'bring on the clowns!' couldnt be further from the truth.
Excellent, intelligent landlord & landlady, keeping the beer as good as ever.

shame about hall & woodlouse ales but everything else positive.

pleased to see a harveys shop now opened next to the swan, their bottled beers are really tasty.

a cracking pub, with a great & ever changing range of guest beers. sometimes as strong as 10.5% abv (ouch!)

after my previous post they do in fact seem too be making better use of there free house status.
I had a excellent pint of summer lightning a few months ago, and was recently pleased to have a few more. a vast improvement on the Green King range available on my visit last year.
