I totally agree with The_Leader, its a dump. And an expencive dump at that! Men hitting women, men hitting men and basicly a sad messed up place. But if ur in training of becoming a streetfighter,u know where to go..

The Jolly Anglers, Wood Green

First impresion: Very sad. From the outside it looked very ok, but once you got in the mood just sorta dropped. Confused and tired staff, toilets messed up and the clientelle looked ready for bed. Ill go there again if im totally hammered as a last resort, but not to get in a partymood.

Goose, Wood Green

First impression was that this is a cozy little place. Not awesome, but the drinks are so cheap taht you easly can afford alcohol glasses who makes the place look stunning. They really need someone experienced in cocktails among the staff thou, whats the use of having a mojito on the drinks menu when the barman gives you a glass of baileys and rum? He was very gracious about it thou, he gave us the messed up drinks for free and the next ones were good enough. The toilets are a disaster, but if ur drunk and very in need of a wee then you wont care. All in all: a great place for a pre-dinner and after-dinner drink and if you wanna be tipsy for the rest of the evning: Go to the goose and granite.

The Nelson, Wood Green

The first impression was very good. Crowded with all kinds of people, but it took us just 5 min to have our drinks and the staff was not rude even thou they had alot to do. Friendly doormen, music very good. The only thing that ruined the music was a clearly unexperienced DJ, who changed music when people oviously was enjoying the song. I actually heard people cursing at him for changing and talking in the middle of good songs. Bad DJ. The price for a drink was good, no complains there. Didnt see much fighting and didnt feel unsafe. And big plus for being open late! Ill be back this weekend, thats for sure!!
