The Stage Door, Victoria

Run of the mill ales, London pride, youngs etc, nothing exciting ... But not in bad condition, other than that nothing to talk about, a typical pub, the same as you would see anywhere in zone 1, no originality at all. The worse thing about this place is the lardlord/manager..... Quite frankly the rudest manager I have ever met, how he got to that position in a customer service role god only knows

The Old Nun's Head, Nunhead

Agree with one of the earlier comments, about mixing the music and sport, they pull it off very well. Very nice pub all in all, and seem to have different beers on tap every weekend, have eaten twice there, one roast and a full english on saturday, both excellent. Highly recommended!

The Market Hotel, Reigate

should be renamed the Meat Market at the weekends, bad over priced beer the rest of the week.

The Black Horse, Reigate

very good looking pub, good beer and nice garden, but, and this is big but, the food was awful when we ate there, a medium steak came out black on the outside and raw in the middle, an the 'new' potatoes with the fish where far from new we needed the steak knife cut cut the leather like skin on them, very dissapionting on what could be a great foody pub.

Old Crown, Weybridge

Great Great pub, especially in the summer with the riverside garden, best pint of directors I've had anywhere, and the food is good too, would just say they plates could be a bit bigger for those portions, especially on the steak!

The Ship Inn, Bedford

Was one of my locals when I lived in Bedford, still pop in there when I'm back there, Fairly descent local pub, has gone a bit down hill over the years, No real ale anymore, which considering they are about a mile from the charles wells brewery is a shame, the eagle smooth is ok, but not quite the real thing, could do with a new lease of life as the 2 other charles wells pubs in the area, the Bedford arms and the foresters have both been rufurbished recently.

The Cask and Glass, Victoria

Have used this liitle pub for a few years now when meeting friends in the area, great little boozer, vicky the landlady keeps the beers in good order. Is also nicely hidden away from the tourist trade, shame it is so small, trying to get in the door, let alone to the bar once the office people arrive after five is a challenge, better in the warmer weather when everybody spills onto the street.

The Admiral, Reigate

Great Little Local Pub, obviously refurbished fairly recently, Pride & youngs, plus the occasional guest beer, always in good nick, Also good place to watch sport, and they even make the effort to keep the rugby fans happy. plus have one of only a couple of pool tables left in reigate.
