Nice freindly pub, good beers, good ale, nice to see there is food on the menu too, really like the open fireplace too adds a warming effect definatly.
Loads better since the new landlord came here thats for sure.
now the puch is closed down the road had a few more in as its nice and close, Inkerman is not bad but The maypole further up the road other way, Old norwich road is well worth a look had some good fun in there lately.

The Three Jolly Sailors, Ipswich
WOW, completly diffrent pub since i last went here, about 4 years ago.
Now the Ipswich Town Supporters Bar, Some great signed pictures on the walls. Little noisy, but loads of banter, really fun pub.
Perfect B&B location for footie fans. Do good food at Good money too. daily specials, Good Real ales.
Another great, proper pub.

Great Friendly Pub, ran by Shaun & Son Tom, Really nice people...
We had a great time on saturday night, Tom ran the karaoke disco, phoenix nights...lol Hilarious.
They also do food all day, but doesnt really start to 5-6, mon-fri. You can get a Steak Meal & a Pint for only �6, and its superb, Just make sure its Tom cooking or shaun....... Id pay treble for what you get.
Summary, good night out, friendly locals, cant beat a proper pub.

The Masons, Ipswich
apparently going on the market again? we will have to wait and see? still we got the Three Jolly sailors round the corner.
