Closed 2012 and briefly re-opened as Secrets (for 3 weeks).
Due to re-open in 2013 with new owners as The St Helens Gay Bar, following the closure of Flex 2.

Sadly the property owners have put the building up for sale. As a result Flex closed on Sunday 13th January 2013, forever.
The landlord is opening a new bar in St Helens.

A half decent pub with Large Live Screen Sport. Open 7 days a week.
Children welcome until 7pm.
Food served from 12 noon.
Free Wi-fi.
Cask Marque Awarded - up to 4 real ales.

More new owners are trying to revive Flex which is re-opening on Wed 31st August 2011 - Fingers crossed for a long life.

Sadly the wonderful new owners arrived too late to save this pub.
Closing 17-Jul-2011, possibly for ever :(

Not a bad pub with decent entertainment, unfortunately the management just want your money and do not care about the staff or customers. Hopefully a new manager will add personality to this pub before all the regulars leave.

New owners took over Feb 2011. Hopefully it will lose it's bad reputation. At least that's what the owners want.

Still trading but like most pubs in St Helens it does not appear to be open on a Monday or Tuesday

Re-opened with new management in Jan 2010.
Still a very friendly place with great entertainment.

The Counting House, St Helens
My earlier review was changed after complaints from the management. It's not a bad place but I've been to many friendlier places. Good for large screen sport but not the most welcoming pub in St Helens.
