The Malt Shovel, Northampton

Great pub. Fantastic selection of beers, huge range of bottled Belgian beers and a whole shelf full of malt whiskies.

A must visit if you're ever in Northampton.

Plus pasties you could hollow out and use as sleeping bags.

The Road To Morocco, Northampton

A year later and even after a number of duty rises Steve has had to put up prices.

Now 2.60 a pint. Theakstons evening coming up soon.

The Road To Morocco, Northampton

Friendly estate pub. Noisy (at times) public bar and decent lounge. always a good selection of real ales both local and from further afield all at very reasonable prices, still 4 pints for a tenner.

The Fish, Northampton

Revisted. What have they done to it?! Greatly reduced selection of badly kept beers, unhelpful staff, bland town centre pub with no character. Advice find somewhere else. (King Billy, Malt Shovel - worth the walk)

The Porterhouse, Westbourne

First visit last night.

Not disappointed. The Old Thumper was excellent. Will definately be returning.

The George, Poole

Service appalling. If you can interrupt the barmaid from texting her mates you might get served.

It took so long 3 of us walked.

The Anchor, Faversham

Worth the stroll. Good pint of Kent's best.

The Phoenix Tavern, Faversham

Plenty of better pubs in Faversham. But perhaps I chose the wrong night.

The Shipwrights Arms, Faversham

Well worth a visit. Be warned it's a bit of a trek. Either footpath along the creek or a road accessed via a housing estate, either way good beer and food at the end of it.

The County Tavern, Northampton

Beer very expensive and gets very smokey at times.

Quiz night on thursdays is good fun.

The Fish, Northampton

Great selection of beers. Some fine characters amongst the locals. Corner pub so windows to two sides and great for ogling in the summer months.

Can get busy at weekday lunch times so if you're ordering food get your order in quickly.
