Samba Lounge, Bearwood

All - Beware of Brian Moles!!:-

I heard he is trying to turn your lovely town of Bearwood into a municipality and he will promote himself to the King. He loves Bearwood so much that he has just bought a house here and calls it Drake house. I also heard he is trying to call this pub the Walter's Arms and promote Fitzy to the local drunk. Also Matron is to become the town Dr and the laundry van is becoming the local bus. Chapel will be compulsory for all residents and he will force you to sign songs too as he plays the organ for all his subjects. Fr David will become the local priest and Dr Belcher the Mayor.

You have been warned!!! I read all this on his iphone in the notes, filed under things to do this weekend.

FYI Brian is a lovely chap and you will love living under his rule.

The Queens Head, Hammersmith

Met up with Brian Moles in here (see my post on the Kings Arms in Tring as to why this was so special).

We played a trick on a friend of his and it was the best day of my life. I did not care much for the prank, it was just the thrill of spending 20 mins in Brian's company.

PS Pub was average, but as Brian was there it gets a 10.

The Walter Arms, Sindlesham

Met a very interesting man in here called Fitzy. He was drunk, but luckily I had just had half a bottle of scotch myself so I understood him.

Also Brian Moles was playing "Goodness Gracious, Great balls of Fire" on the Piano.

Needless to say it was a hell of a night and posibly one of my best nights ever spent in a pub (except that one in 1996 in Margate).

The Kings Arms, Tring

Pub is great. It was made extra special by my story below:-

I met a guy called Brian Moles in here and I had the best evening of my life. We ended up dancing in the streets whilst he played a banjo (diversely I might add). I go back to this pub all the time in the hope that Brian will be in here again, but alas I end up drinking on my own.

My wife now thinks I am having an affair as I am always nipping out, but I am really going to the pub in the hope that Brian graces it with his presence.

Pub gets 10/10 for the best night of my life.
