Very nice pub, a little short on seating if just a drinker but the food is good pub standard and still best bet for quiet drink in Newlyn. book a table for peak times !

not good ... grubby on outside & grubby inside, poor beer and hostile atmosphere ... avoid !

still not really a pub but has new management who rumour has it that are more welcoming.

plays rubbish loud music to 3 dodgy looking chaps at the bar & all within 200 yards, a waste of nice building.

As others have mentioned this place needs to make drinkers more welcome if it wants to lay claim to being bar & restaurant. Now very big & can appear cold & uninviting when half empty.

The Star Inn, Crowlas
rude, maybe, more interested in locals, maybe, but if people who made last comment can't tell that this pub serves & these days brews the best beer in Cornwall by a country mile they perhaps deserved the treatment they got. Did they order lager & lime ?
