The Sawyers Arms, Deansgate

Oh my god, what has happened to this place?? This used to be a great place to watch the football, with a great atmosphere and was always full of people. I hadnt been there in a few months so thought I'd pop in again. There were 3 people in the whole place and i asked the barman where was everybody and why was the football not on? He said the pub is under new management and they dont show ANY sports now! He said all their customers have left as well! What a shame as the pub is now dull with no life at all. Shame, shame, shame!

The Grey Horse Inn, Manchester

This pub is so small, its like sittin in yor front room! Cosy,Friendly bar staff, great pint of Holts Bitter. Most of the drinkers in here are really friendly,Ive met some really unique characters. Definatly one of the best boozers in town.

The Mitre Hotel, Manchester

The pub in the hotel is clean, nice beer and the bar staff are pretty friendly. There also is a nice lounge to relax in while watchin the football on the big screen. I know it's in a great location but why does that mean the beer has to be so expensive? My advice?.....Have a few and move on to somewhere that dosn't rip you off.

Trafford, Old Trafford

Yes,this pub is crap! Dark, smelly, shit beer and to top it off the beer is expensive! I used to watch UTD games in here years ago and it used to be better than it is now.Reckon the interior needs a complete overhall.Surely the owners must see the pub is a bit of a dump? A drink in here really is last resort stuff.

The Bishop Blaize, Old Trafford

Great pub to watch football, with lots of t.v's and big screen. Good food, good pint and cheap as well. The toilets are spotless and bar staff are very friendly. Cant find a complaint with it at all.Well worth a visit.

The Old Monkey, Manchester

A nice cheap pint of Joey Holts here. Yes,you have to hold your nose when in the loos and sometimes its like walkin into an old peoples home, with all the depressed pensioners in there but the staff are friendly and a good mix of people at weekends.Worth a visit.

O'Sheas, Manchester

This pubs in a good location and gets a good crowd for watchin the footie. The bar staff are pretty friendly and the music is good too.The one drawback is the overpriced beer which means its not somewhere to spend all evening in,as its murder on your wallet!
No need!

Mulligans, Deansgate

What a nice pub! Being an Irish lad myself this place has the best pint of Guinness around. Friendly bar staff and a good mixture of people. Gets pretty stuffed at weekend but would recommend it to anyone.

The Crown and Anchor, Manchester

The beer in this pub isnt bad but i have to say,a couple of the female bar staff are some of the most rude and unfriendly i have ever experienced.Definatly won't be going back. Surely it's not much to ask for a bit of politeness?
