Visited this pub on a Monday evening and found it nearly empty apart from a darts match taking place. Two �real ales� were being served, �Jennings Cumberland Ale� and �Banks Bitter�. The usual pool table and TV were present and I noticed a restaurant area as well. If you like eating and drinking alfresco, then this is the place for you, as you can sit outside and enjoy the spectacular view of the Humber River. A friendly pub with a nice atmosphere.

Visited pub on a Monday night and had a pint of Theakston's Best Bitter - the only real ale available. Had it not been for 2 dart matches going on, I think the pub would be very quiet, as most pubs are on a Monday evening. Pleasant staff and a nice atmosphere, will go again.

The Prince of Wales, South Ockendon
What a disappointment! I use to drink in this pub over 40 years ago and it now desperately needs refurbishing � I noticed two broken windows on my visit. Gone is the beer garden at the rear. The only outside seating is now at the front of the pub by the roadside. They have stopped serving food and there is no real ale, so I will not be going back.

Five well kept cask ales and the usual lagers etc.Tables out in front of the pub and a covered patio area at the back. Food is served from 12 noon to 9pm, every day. Sunday's is a carvery with a choice of 3 roast meats & fresh vegetables. This is a pub for all the family and is 'doggie friendly'.

We popped into this typical town pub, with its very impressive frontage, for lunch on our visit to Hull. The food was enjoyable but nothing special and the only �real ale� available was John Smiths. A jukebox provided the music. Not a bad pub for a quick pint and a spot of lunch.

Popped in for lunch while visiting York. This pub had the TV on and music playing at the same time, which seems to be the norm now days. The meal was enjoyable but nothing special and we had a choice of two 'real ales', Deuchars IPA & a guest beer. Not a bad pub for a quick pint and a spot of lunch.

A very busy pub with a good selection of 'real ales' with Maldon Gold as my favourite. Worth a visit.

We had our 7th pint here on our mini pub crawl of Maldon so my memory is a bit hazy. I do remember that it had a good selection of 'real ales' and the bar staff were friendly.

This bar is situated in the South Terminal airside. Pleasant surroundings but being a typical airport bar is expensive and has no 'real ale'.

This 500 year old listed pub is well worth a visit. It has a selection of real ales (I had the Adnams Broadside) and it serves food until 9.30pm.

To early for a beer so just had breakfast, not bad, just your average Wetherspoons.

Ye Olde Murenger House, Newport
This pub has a welcoming old-fashioned feel to it, as befits the oldest pub in Newport. Of particular interest is the back section with its partitions, oak panelling throughout and photos of old Newport. As I'm not keen on the Old Brewery Bitter, I decided to try Sam Smith's Extra Stout which I found very enjoyable. Well worth a visit.

I had a nice pint (Wychert Ale) and a nice meal in this large Wetherspoon pub. Nothing special but it's now all non smoking.

The Dog Inn is a fine example of a traditional English Ale House. Real Ale is a priority here, and as an accredited CAMRA establishment, there is an ever-changing selection of Guest Ales on offer. Lunches are available at weekends as the pub only opens at 4pm weekdays.

This 17th century pub in the centre of Fobbing, has 18th century extensions that incorporate beams from the old Thames sailing barges. It serves three real ales and food is available at lunchtime only. A true village pub with a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome for all that visit.

This 15th century building in the town centre, with its heavy timbers and flagstones, makes it a pub worth visiting. This is the only �non smoking� pub in Shrewsbury and with no music or TV to distract you from enjoying the choice of at least 4 real ales, what more can you ask for! A real gem.

The Tiger Inn, Beeford
Went to Beeford yesterday so my wife could do some family tree research & we had lunch at the Tiger Inn. We had a pint of Shepherd Neame's 'Spitfire' with our most enjoyable meal.
