well a total refurb has dun nowt to the pub
and at £3.70 a pint of landlord its the most expensive in clevedon
and nearly £2 a pint more than witherspones !
so i would still say avoid

Went in today with the family the landlord was great we had sum banter then a good meal 2 real ales on hand all round a good experience I would go again

i travel 150 miles to go to this pub !

went there sunday at 1400 waited 35 min for food !
then paid london prices for the drinks !

well lesley has gone, its on its last legs now the the manger looks like he came form st pauls they have the biggest dog dog ever seen, it walks round the bar
barking etc not a nice place to go will close shortly cos no one goes there now

The Stags Head, Portslade
Went in tonight all I can say is wow, new landlord,new paint new pub
Two beers on tap Harvey's and yes you've guessed it doom bar lol
Please give it a try, at least the landlord is sober now !
