The Blythe Hill Tavern, Forest Hill

This place is a gem... ! Just like many Irish pubs across London used to be 20 odd years ago...

The Steam Packet, Littlehampton

Still boarded up. Looks very sad...

The Arun View Inn, Littlehampton

Great view of the harbour!

The Anchor Tap, Tower Bridge

Easily the best earthy pub in the area... A real gem!

The Perry Hill, Catford

Huge improvement on the Two Brewers with great food and a really nice decked area at the back. A great improvement for the area.

Angies Freehouse, Harlesden

This could be a fine pub but is just far too smokey...

The Trafalgar Hotel, Ramsey

Good pub with decent beer and nice location by the harbour (would be even better if they got round to building a Marina in Ramsey!)

The Whitehouse Hotel, Peel

Shame about the smoke. But the beer is the best on the island.

The Grand Junction Arms, Harlesden

Had a great time recently listening to the Sunday jazz session while sitting outside beside the canal.

The atmosphere was great - food was fairly basic but good fare (Sunday roast was faultless) and, with the changes happening in the area, I think this pub can go from strength to strength. Recommended

The Masons Arms, Kensal Green

A huge improvement since the Autumn 05 refit. The beer garden especially is a massive improvement for the summer.

I have some sympathy with the previous comments about it being a bit pretentious and the bar staff are sometimes a bit too cool to be efficient - but overall think its a big improvement.

Food and beers much better and worth the extra money.
