The Old Queens Head, Sheffield

Stopped in on the way up the road because of the eye catching exterior and had an acceptable half of Thwaites Oktoberfest. The barmaid was friendly and served us quickly, but before long we moved on to The Devonshire Cat.

Sheffield Tap, Sheffield

I got off the train in Sheffield and was delighted to see so many Thornbridge beers - the Glastonbury 'Mystery Tor' that was on was very pleasant too. Polite staff and quick service, I could have stayed there for far longer than I did!

The Devonshire Cat, Sheffield

Fantastic pub, I will definitely be coming back here. With a range of well kept beers on handpump even the fussiest of real ale drinkers will be satisfied, and the massive bottled beer list means there's always something new and interesting to try. The food was delicious and a reasonable price, and the staff were pleasant and capable.

The Filo (First In Last Out), Hastings

Great pub, good beer, nice atmosphere. Can be crowded, but it's worth it.

The Greyhound, Carshalton

A pleasant retreat from the snow for a pint of Blackthorn, but I must admit we moved on to the Hope after one pint.

The Sun, Carshalton

Very nice. Decor was tasteful, staff were pleasant, the only slight problem I have with it was the music, however the Hoegaarden more than made up for that! I will definitely be going back there.

The Hope, Carshalton

Cosy little pub with a traditional atmosphere, a good range of ales and a lovely community feel. The staff and the regulars always make you feel welcome, and the garden is wonderful for the summer months. A real asset to the village.
