The Fernandes Brewery Tap and Bier Keller, Wakefield

Brilliant pub, usually has 10 beers on tap, mix of Fernades and Ossett Brewery plus plenty of guests. They also have a European bar, with you guessed it lots of German and Belgium beers. They do a nice range of Ciders too. Best pub in the City Centre (though Harry's Bar, The Hop and Henry Boons are all very good).

Regular live music, we often go to the Folk stuff.

No food though, but plenty of restaurants nearby.

Bit hard to find on your first visit, as its tucked away on a side St.

The Bay Horse, Scholes

well worth a visit. Food excellent, reasonably priced and good portions. Beer is fantastic, well kept and usually about 6 beers on tap, good range of breweries. Jaipur and Old Leg Over and Landlord seem to be regulars. Loads of CAMRA awards.

The Chandos, Trafalgar Square

Lovely Sam Smith's pub right next to the church of St Martin in the Field, Trafalgar Sq. Interesting mix of customers (locals - suited and non-suited; tourists; old and young, couples and singles, groups). People on way home from work, on way to the Theatre, chilling after a shop, or after doing the galleries. Food OK, Beer as always at Mr Smiths' Pubs - Excellent. Tasty & Cheap Prices. The Pure Lager is my particular favourite. There was a good mix of seating, quiet little booths, bar stools, tables, nice room upstairs too.

The Leinster Arms, Bayswater

Staff very friendly, Excellent Food (pies and desserts), Well kept Ales (Jaipur IPA, Fullers London Pride, plus one other guest), lovely quiet atmosphere. Very convenient location if your are visiting Hyde Park, or are staying in Bayswater area. Highly recommended as a pub for a quiet drink and a read over a meal. We spent a very nice evening there.
