Nice building and interior, seriously bad food. My steak looked and tasted as if it was cooked a week before and then re-heated in a microwave. I fully support the idea of another reviewer to nominate the Royal Oak for the Gordon Ramsay programme. Such a waste of a lovely pub building!

Sands, Woking
We had a lovely dinner at Sands yesterday. Very friendly service, delicious food and wine, lovely freshly baked bread. The portions are not the pub size, but very adequate. Not the cheapest of places, but not too bad � 2 course dinner for two with two large glasses of wine - �39.50. Good for special occasions.
