have only been to this pub once but once was enough admitedly it was a year ago but service was very bad tried to order food was told it would be awhile about 15minutes later told food ordered not available reordered waitress then informe us coach party had arrived which they had forgotten about so no food would be available for us we left disgusted by our treatment

a really friendly pub with some true charectors of the loal variety beer was good with good local beers for some reason i always seem to miss the lunch hour so cannot comment on that but then again i always leave there a little worse for wear!

why is it that when a company takes ove a decent pub with a good atmosphere and traditional decor they can get it so wrong the place is now dark and oppresive the beer warm (if you can get to the bar that is) its more like an amusment arcade than a DECENT pub

The Cock Inn, Luddesdowne
have to say when i first saw this pub i was not excited about it at all but once inside all i could think of was the old curiosity shop beers were great staff friendly and best still its the only pub i know of that really welcomes dogs wish i had brought mine instead of the old man !
