Bella and dolph only post about the Dolphin, with the same theme. (the same person? - probably).
As already stated, the Dolphin is in a state of mediocrity following frequent management changes.

The Bird has now closed. One must wonder what the future holds; it was steadily going down hill.

Small with cliques (Steve Mad-Painter et al). Friendly enough with good food and beer; news travels fast here. Partly because of a lack of any real competition on this side of town, the Bull Head fills a gap - adequately.

I understand that this pub is being refurbed and will re-open before Christmas, but we couldn't get in yesterday.
