The Blythe Hill Tavern, Forest Hill
i think this pub is great, the staff are so friendly and always rememeber you and what you drink even if its been ages since you've been there.this is a proper PUB, which is a nice change from all the trendy bar-pubs that are opening in forest hill. if you want a good knees up in a boozer, this is the place to go. nice garden

its nice to know there is an after school club or pub should i say for sydenham girls to attend, i was there a couple of weeks ago and had to leave because of screeching school kids smelling alcohol for the first time, the music also was awful, but their food is good value and they have a great menu, dave the assistant manager is a great bloke who really knows how to make you feel wanted there as a customer, i really feel he is unappreciated by the rest of the managment. this pub has great potential if they got rid of the school children and the intimadating hoodies.

The Railway Telegraph, Forest Hill
i think the telgraph is a cracking pub, and they've started getting in live music and karaoke at the weekends which s excellent. The quiz night every other wednesday is a great laugh. The staff are really funny and the sunday lunches are really good value, and this one barman is so yum, so my girlfriend says, i think his name is Luke.

nice pub now its been cleaned up, very nice staff and a wonderful atmosphere great to have light ale in.
