The White Horse, Hascombe

i have to say this used to be a very good place to eat and drink....i'm refering to the days when a certain celebrity used the place. now i'm afraid this is a tired sad excuse for a country pub...not even serving food in the restaurant unless you have booked a table..

very sad what this has become. i went here about ten years ago and it was nice...not anymore

Alfold Barn, Alfold

we have had a knightmare getting in here to eat. we must have tried four times and they were always full. I am glad we perservered, the food was outstanding, and the whole ambience amazing. i had the fruit de mer and it is eye popping and so fresh. definitely book in advance.

i have to say our food was very mediocre and there are several much better establishments around. the service was average at best.
