Oi bigjmk you seem about right for this pub. No brains or education. I don't mind banter but when i see people getting stabbed it does put me off my beer a little.

Was a fantastic place to be. Lost all its charm when Greene King sold it off and Shawn and Dawn left. Did they take all the decent customers with them i wonder. Had some great nights there and some great afternoons too. RIP the Golden Farmer

You better take this place seriously otherwise you will end up stabbed or worse. Stay away if you are a decent peace loving person. It's full of crack addicts who would glass you as well as look at you. Pull it down and build a prison around the customers....that's where most of them either belong or will end up. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!

This pub is a lovely looking pub. A central bar surrounded by proper pub fixture and fitting. It looks great when it's empty. Unfortunately it's the customers that ruin it. Everybody bar none is constantly up for a fight. Trouble can start at any moment for no apparent reason and god help you if you are in the way when it does. What a shame it is inhabited by mostly uneducated, evil morons who should be old enough to know better. One night can be a great night the next a bloodbath. My advice is best avoided if you are out to enjoy yourself with no aggravation. If ever a building would be better suited as a car park this is it. The patrons don't deserve someone making an effort to clean it up. What a shame. Overall this could be a great community pub if it were somewhere else other than this community.

Was good, new owners not so good. Everything that was good about it has gone. Food bad, atmosphere bad, freezing cold won’t return…..shame as it was a really good place
