GREAT PUB, GREAT PEOPLE. The Bar staff and locals were so friendly to my wife and i . It was our first time here, we ended up eating and drinking until last orders. The food was fantastic pub grub, which i washed down with plenty of top quality Sadler's Ales. I really reccomend this Pub!

A rather angry gnome like man served me a very sour pint. Wouldn't bother going again. Unless you like angry gnomes!

Amazing pub, lovely food, great selection of Sadlers Ales. The Sadlers real ale sausages and beer bread are worth going for alone. All very home made food, everything is made on the premesis and the menu has got a lovely slight real ale theme, which works really well. really nice atmosphere, would suit anybody from the lone dinner to a couple on a date or a family party or bussiness men and women on lunch.
This is a truly excellent pub and is well worth a visit or ten!!

The Shovel Inn, Lye
Not the best of pubs, warm beer cold landlord.
There are much better pubs in Lye.
