Very disappointing - this pub didn't live up to it's recommendation and I suspect it has changed hands.
The beer is OK however the food well below average. For example a toad in the hole comprised some very low quality sauages tossed into a frozen yorkshire with badly made instant gravy.
The most annoyng thing was the refusal to serve tap water. A number of reasons were given to us and the next customer we overheard asking for an organge squash...
"Well it's York Water!"

Given the same supply must feed the soft drinks tap and go into the ice I would recommend avoiding this place.

Great pub with excellent beer and bar meals. Customer service was excellent - my Black Sheep was off but was replaced without quibble for an alternative beer, our lunch order was delayed however the friendly staff gave us a free round of beers even though we didn't mind or complain. All in all a very enjoyable lunch.

Great pub with good beer and frielndly staff. The Sunday lunch is excellent and costs just �6

The Holme Bush Inn, Corfe Mullen
We went there on a Thursday evening after it was recommended by the camp site we were staying on. The food was expensive and below average. Very disappointing.

The White Horse, Leamington Spa
Not a bad place for a lively hight out with mates - although the quality of the beer it very up and down. Ordering food here is just asking for trouble.
The manager of the place has a real attitude problem i've seen him engage in pointless arguments with customers.
