The Bay Horse Inn, Totnes

Can't fault the ale at all. Spot on. Tip-top condition.
Found it very very quiet. Even the bar man didn't speak, which was actually quite amusing.
Mind, it was mid-afternoon on a Monday.

The Dolphin, Dartmouth

Well I don't know what it was like before, as this was my first visit to Dartmouth, but I was really pleased I chose it for my only couple of pints in the town.
Ale in excellent condition. I had a Bridgetown summat or other, and it was lovely.
I've read the other reviews and can safely say that the service does not resemble some of the other comments so I think it must have dramatically improved lately.
Didn't eat there, but the menu looked good.

The Pigs Nose, East Prawle

Great place. Really friendly landlord who gave my kids some pens to write on the walls in the snug.
South Hams Eddystone was fantastic, as were the other two local brews I tried but can't remember the names of.
Full of interesting bits and bobs. Including a shower room with four showers.
Hopefully I'll get to visit it again.

The Millbrook Inn, South Pool

Visited this lovely little pub on a sunny afternoon while holidaying in South Devon.
Kids loved having the brook to play in and I enjoyed the Millbrook IPA (brewed by Red Rock I think).
Well worth seeking out.

The Blue Anchor Inn, Teignmouth

Stumbled upon this small pub by accident while looking for somewhere to park for a couple of hours to look around Teignmouth and do a spot of crabbing on the Quay with family.
Superb choice and quality of ales. Mostly local brews. Tried the Dartmoor Legend and the South Hams Devon Pride. Both in great nick. Nice outdoor seating area with reclining loungers and a large blue anchor!

The Cat and Fiddle, Clyst St Mary

Visited with family. Family area was run down and quite depressing.
Otter Ale had to be returned because it was so cloudy it was virtually opaque, was replaced with Butcombe bitter which was ok.
Food not up to much and took a while for cutlery to arrive so we were left looking at it for a good 5 minutes while it got cold.
