The Olde George Inn, Shoreham

This is a lovely pub! We popped in here whilst walking to Otford along the Darent Valley, which is a nice walk in itself. They had a gorgeous coal fire warming the place and a nice selection of ales. I can't understand the low rating – must be old scores from previous tenants.
The bar staff were charming and there was a great ambience here. Will be back!

The Gun Inn, Heathfield

Lovely pub in a nice location. We were made to feel most welcome even though we were only there for drinks. I was drinking TT Landlord – perfect! We sat out the front one night and in the large garden on another – both were great.

The Six Bells, Chiddingly

What an amazing pub! Situated in the beautiful village of Chiddingly, this pub has a gorgeous interior (not too) cluttered with old enamel signs etc which may be a bit much for some but added to the interest for me. Nice and cosy, I could have spent all day there. We arrived during the last weekend in July which corresponded with The Bongo Bash being held in the adjacent field which was basically a bunch of bikers having fun. They were fine but may have put off some. Apparently this has been a biker pub for some years, but you wouldn’t really notice it. I think there is Folk & Blues here as well. Well worth a visit!
