The Sea Horse, Mansion House

The last review is pretty much spot on. The management in question are in their 3rd stint at this pub. During their first tenure, i, (with a number of workmates) were regulars here and spent an absolute fortune in this place. However, we moved offices and didnt go back for a few months (as it was out of our way). When we did make a special effort to return, the manager acted like he didnt even know us! Says it all really when they are struggling for business on Paddy's day! I now walk past the place on the way home and i dont think ive seen more than a handful in there at any time

The Samuel Pepys, Mansion House

Been drinking here on and off for 5 years. Returned here after a break last night and was heartily disappointed. Three of the lagers were definately off, the fridges containing the bottled beer stock were almost empty, the tables were dirty etc etc. Looks like they are running the place down. Great shame as its a lovely bar with fantastic views over the Thames. Regret to say i wont be returning
