The Chequers Inn, Heaverham

Great country pub. Lovely garden for sunny days and two very traditional bars with log fires for winter nights. Beer well kept and food freshly prepared with local ingredients. Definitly worth visit!

The Kingfisher, Chertsey

Awful pub. Visited on Saturday afternoon but took ages to get served. Disinterested student-like staff gave poor service. No sign of anyone in charge. Food was average but grill was out of order on the day we went. Go somewhere else.

The Foresters Arms, Fairwarp

Had Sunday lunch there yesterday after a lovely walk in Ashdown Forest. Small but friendly bar & staff which was busy but not noisy. Had a decent pint sitting outside in the November sunshine then we all (4) has Sunday lunch inside. Food was excellent, very tasty and served with a nice selection of fresh vegetables. Deserts were homemade and yummy. Would definitely return.
