The Plough Inn, Upper Boddington

I have been going in here every few weeks for 20 years, and as others comment it has changed hands twice since it was rebuilt after burning down about 4 years ago, wasn't friendly to non-regulars then. However current proprietors are efficient , early evening it is good. The move of the bar into the front of the pub has been positive . The locals do like to sit in front of the bar ( dressed as farmers whether they are or not) , which is irritating , as it is in the nearby Carpenter's Arms. However the bar staff serve over their heads so be patient ! The draft beers are varied, has the usual bitters ( Bombardier, Spitfire etc) but lagers excellent such as San Miguel, Tuborg and similar that you don't always see. Prices ok too . Can't comment on the food but seems popular. Hope these proprietors stay there, as a pub to pop into for an hour it is very pleasant.
