Wonderful pub! Run by the 'Three Brothers', Gordon, Doug and Dennis the atmosphere is always convivial. Gordon & Doug are actually real brothers, Doug is adopted, since he spent so much time in front of the bar, the brothers invited him to spent the rest of his time behind it! Stories of the three are passing into legend - Gordon the ex-wrestler, who once banned foreigners from the World Marbles Championships as they 'didn't drink enough bleedin' beer'! Dennis, who, being caught three times over the limit, went to court and successfully argued that as an alcoholic who puts away two bottles of gin a day, he is actually always over the limit and that morning had only had a quick livener for breakfast! And dear old Doug, who gave up the gin on doctors orders, to replace it with two crates of Arctic Light a day......
Have a bet in the Buddha on who will die first.....

Good two bar twon pub with an off-licence. Basic public bar, serving good home made sandwiches, little more up market saloon bar, sans snug. As a Watneys tied house, Stag & Tamplins are the order of the day and although these arne't the greatest of beers (for that you need the White Hart and Harveys in the High Street), they are well kept and served well here.

The Snooty Fox, Three Bridges
Right on the road, The Fox is the first pub you see as you step out of Three Bridges Station. An old building, built around the same time as the Station, it was an important staging Inn on the route between London and Brighton. Good, basic pub, two bars, spartan public and a little more comfortable Saloon. Basic Whitbread ales available, the Fremlins is OK, but personally, I always go for the bottled Pale Ale.
