The Carters Rest, Wroughton

What a little gem! 10 real ales plus some cracking ciders - perfect for the area with no other place like it. Kevin & Caroline take great pride in each pint (or half!) they pour, and you can't blame them with the supberb quality of products they provide. I have never had a bad experience to date, keep up the tremendous work guys :)

The Hourglass, Devizes

We decided to pop over to The Hourglass for a spot of mid-week lunch. Food was great but the motionless, non-interested member of staff behind the bar spoiled our visit. For the price we paid for lunch, a smile or warm welcome should have come with it, clearly not the case here...we weren't the only one's who thought this, we overheard 3 tables saying the same. Perhaps the guy behind the bar should rethink his job choice if he doesn't like dealing with the public. Overall, food was great, shame about the service.
