Very average pub with 'quirky' decor. Agree with what others have said about the staff - they weren't the friendliest bunch!
Whilst the selection of beers was rather poor I did enjoy a nice pint of Courage Best poured with a sprinkler!
Also - what sort of a pub doesn't have crisps?!?! 'The only snacks we have are olives' - NO!

The Garden Gate, Hampstead Heath
Huge pub with a really nice garden. Good selection of ales on (6 or 7 pumps if I recall correctly) - the Harvey's was particularly good. Didn't eat but the food looked really nice too.

The Freemasons Arms, Hampstead
The place looks nice but after waiting at the bar to be served for 10 minutes we gave up and left.
We went in on a Saturday afternoon - there were three groups waiting at the bar to be served and four members of staff milling around behind the bar, apparently unable to serve drinks with any urgency at all!
Avoid.
