Our Mutual Friend, Stevenage

Was in here on 28 August before the Saints game. Beers from Brewsters, Mighty Oak, Holdens and Dark Star among others. Great pub, great staff and although I didn't eat the food went down well. The beer also went down well, it had run out by the time we left for the game!

The Symonds Well, Epsom

The Symonds Well reopened a couple of weeks ago and is now styled as Acorn 30, an urban bar and kitchen. The bar has been moved over to the right hand side and the pub has a clean and modern look.

As far as real ale goes they are keeping Youngs Bitter as a regular and they have one guest beer. This is currently Caledonian 80/- and is under a "house beer" pump clip "Down the Well" to give a connection with the past.

Opening hours are noon - 11pm Sun-Thurs and noon - 1am Fri and Sat (although I was told that they have a licence to midnight during the week if busy)
